Specialisterne Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation with the goal to generate meaningful employment for one million autistic/neurodivergent persons through social entrepreneurship, corporate sector engagement and a global change in mindset.

Sustainability

Specialisterne is strongly committed to sustainability and contributing to the 17  Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations in 2015, and with 2030 as the goal.

In the case of Specialisterne, our activity falls within 4 objectives. In addition, Specialisterne Spain has the BCorp certification and is a member of the Spanish Global Compact Network.

4. Quality education: Specifically, the sections relate to providing relevant skills to young people and adults for employment (4.4) and improving the education of the most vulnerable groups (4.5)

8. Decent work and economic growth: Especially the sections related to youth (8.6) and vulnerable groups (8.8)

10. Reduction of inequalities: With the emphasis on empowering and promoting the economic and social inclusion of vulnerable groups (10.2)

17. Partnerships to achieve the objectives: With the emphasis on collaborating with companies, associations and foundations, related to autism and neurodiversity, governments and other bodies. It’s objective to assess the social impact and promote a greater advance in the inclusion of people with autism in our society. The Specialisterne Foundation (which owns the Specialisterne concept and brand and replicates them around the world) has been associated with the United Nations since 2015.

Spanish Global Compact Network: Specialisterne Spain is a part of the Spanish Global Compact Network since April 2019 within the framework of the 2030 Agenda, in order to act along other companies in the development of the Sustainable Development Goals. It is also part of the CEO 2020 signatories, who use businesses as a way to change the world.

On the occasion of the decade of action, which requires accelerating sustainable solutions aimed at companies, Specialisterne adds its experience and best practices to make them available to all its clients, through the development of Diversity and Inclusion projects focused on neurodiversity. And it appeals companies to access neurodiverse talent, in a very enriching learning experience.
